Exterior Painting - Merton 09.25

Repainting the entrance of a home in South West London. This was one of those jobs that really didn't feel like work at all - partially because it was a beautiful day out, but mostly because the client is always a pleasure to work for. I also did some touching up on the interior of the property a few days before - I wanted to make a separate post about this but honestly the pictures aren't that exciting.

However, back to the front entrance. Here, there were two main tasks - the first of which was to repaint the front doorstep as it had become chipped and worn over time.

This was nice and straightforward, with the additional fun of having to walk the plank every time I needed a piss.

The second task was to recoat the coping stones and pier caps on the brick wall at the front of the garden. I gave these two coats to ensure any previous marks were covered and to give them a brilliant glow.

Some shots of the pier caps. You can really tell these have been painted now as the sign says so.

Finally, a shot of the whole entrance.
