Interior Painting - Dorset 04.25

Finishing some painting work that my client in Dorset had started but didn't have time to finish. This job was ideal for me - half the work was already done, I got to touch some grass, and there was a constant supply of Yorkshire tea.

The first task was to finish off the study room upstairs. The colour of choice here was Farrow & Ball's Cardamom, with their Estate Emulsion finish for the walls and Estate Eggshell for the woodwork.

The first of two doors. I'm not sure what those stains were on the wall but they covered up nicely after a gentle sanding.

Another door.

Gave the windows a quick wipe too, I forgot how dusty it gets in the countryside! Not my finest work, but something to do while the paint dries.

Downstairs in the kitchen, the client had started painting the ceiling in Scallop. Again, in Estate Emulsion.

Halfway through finishing the ceiling, we deliberated painting the walls in Scallop as well. I'm glad we decided to go for it as the final result was much cosier.
