My first ever commercial release! The original arrangement for this was quite sparse which gave quite a dark feel to the track. At first, I liked how this juxtaposed with the optimism of the main vocal sample. However, it did feel a little empty.
I shared the track with my friend Mia who suggested adding some piano to fill out the mid-range and I couldn't have agreed more. I threw in a choppy Korg M1 piano riff (done to death but still slaps) and the tune totally transformed into something much more euphoric and uplifting.
